This article was interesting to me because I love photography. Although it is a fun thought and would probably be pretty exciting to play with I am not certain about this new gadget. I feel as though it takes away from the true art of photography. I love when you see a picture that was not altered and the person taking the photo had a great eye and knew how to get the lighting and everything else just right. That is true skill. There is a skill to editing too. However, this new gadget could make anyone who wants to be a good photographer be one... and possibly without leaving the comfort of their home.

First journal thoughts...
Well hello there.
This is my first post to my new blog about my college computer concepts class. Let me tell you a bit about myself before diving into my thoughts on class.
My name is Kelsie Patka. I grew up in Bend, Oregon since I was two and I LOVE it! I moved away one year to attend Bible College in Eugene, Oregon. It rained to much, so I came home. :-)
I work out at a non-profit called Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch. You can find out more about it at www.crystalpeaksyouthranch.org. I am a director there and spend much of my time running around making sure everything is going smoothly. I love my job. What better thing to do then work with kids and horses. Although I do much more then just that. I love horses, I have two of my own. I wish I had more time to ride them. I also have a little dalmation border colie dog who I love. I love the Central Oregon outdoors as well... God did well in creating this area of Oregon.
So... I'll be you are wondering what I think about class. To be quite honest I haven't really thought about what I think about it. I have been doing the homework and just pushing on through. These next couple weeks are slammed at work, so I haven't had much extra time. I do enjoy how much you ask for feedback and want to hear about what we like and dislike in the class. As we continue to have class I will consider this and give more feedback.
Well, it's time to get to my other homework.
Good night! :-)
